Job Brief

We are currently hiring a Network Administrator to join our team and be responsible for maintaining and supporting our networks.

Main Responsibilities of a Network Administrator

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring, configuring and maintaining existing networks and making upgrades where required

• Network planning and adopting appropriate network protection solutions

• Install & integrate new hardware and applications

• Ensuring network security & connectivity

• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses

• Liaising with third-party vendors

• Troubleshooting network issues or outages

• Providing technical support to end users

Key Requirements

• You possess a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• You have prior experience in a network administrator role

• Hands-on experience with networking, routing and switching

• You possess experience with Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPN, LAN, WAN, troubleshooting, and problem resolution

• Understanding of Layer 2 and 3 network infrastructure

• You possess good analytical & problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with end users

  Mikrotik, Cisco, Juniper and Linux Administration will be  an added advantage
